Our film would belong in the Hammer film catalogue because Hammer only did a few Thrillers as they were more focused on horror but when they did every thriller that was made by them was very psychological mystery thriller with a twist at the end, which is what our thriller is. I think that our thriller would fit it fine.

Our film would also fit in the with low budget production company, they do allot of thrillers and their use of special effects and good shots make their films seem they have cost allot of money to do. We have used After effects in our film for the titles to make our films seem more professional and we have also tried using fade in and outs to make our film flow allot nicer. We also used professional lighting while filming to make the film look more expensive
Q6File/Import- We used this to add new clips to our film.
Bin- We used this to delete clips we did not need while editing our film
Audio master meter-We used this to make sure that all of our clips had a similar level of volume throughout the film
Selection Tool- We used this to select clips and move them around the timeline
Razor Tool- We used this to split out clips in half to add other clips in between them.
Pen Tool- We used this to make our audio fade in and out and also control the opacity of our clips.
Zoom in/Zoom Out- We used this to see each of our clips that are displayed on the time line up close and much more clearly.
Video Transitions- We used this so that our film had a more professional feel to it and also so our film would flow alto nicer. We mostly used the Cross Di solve effect.
Title/New Title- We used this to add the titles onto our film.
Collapse/Expand Track (Audio)- We used this to control the overall volume of our audio
Collapse/Expand Track (Visual)- We used this to control the overall opacity of our clips.
Set In/Set Out points- We used this to trim our clips easier using the 'I' and 'O' buttons on the keyboard.
Sequence Box- We used this frequently throughout editing our film to see how Good the film was and to help spot errors that should be corrected.
Source Monitor- We used this to trim out clips and audio before adding them to the timeline.
Timeline- We used this to place all of our clips together and view the film as a whole.
Q7
To prepare us for making our film, we first got used to using the camera by filming someone walking through a door and having a simple conversation. This task helped us as we were able to work with the camera and experiment different angles with it. We were informed about the 180 degree rule in filming and the types of different shots and what they are used for so that we could film different shots. We also learnt about how many shots are needed just to film a simple section of the film. We then practised how to edit our preliminary tasks on Adobe premier. We got taught how to cut and edit our film so it flowed nicely and each shot ran smoothly. We also learnt about fading effects and sound. Having learnt the basic process of filming, we got put into groups and asked to plan out five ideas about what our film opening was going to be about we used a storyline from a rumour that was quite scary and we decided that we were going to incorporate the idea but add our own ideas to it so we could use it in our film. Our film plays on a basic fear of clowns/dolls. We liked this idea as not many thrillers use clowns or dolls and a large percentage of people have a fear of them and we want our film to be frightning yet not too overexaggerated. We then had to organise the location to shoot our film and who would be the actors. We also had to work out when the actors and ourselves were free so we had time to shoot our film without it effecting our other work. After filming, we then had to edit our footage. We also found a number of uncopyrighted sound effects on the internet to use in our film to make it more professional. This is because when we were filming, we couldn't hear the phone ringing on the camera. we learnt how to fade and edit the sound on the film to make the sound more realistic and the overall film seems more professional.
